Marc Anthony: Jennifer Lopez Is My 'Girl for Life'

Added: 25.03.2017 19:52 | 0 views | 0 comments

Marc Anthony says Jennifer Lopez is his "girl for life".
The 48-year-old singer was married to the 'Shades of Blue' actress for 10 years until 2014 and insists the pair will always be great friends as they have been close ever since they first met.
He told Extra: "If you want to get along with a woman, just get divorced ... I'm producing her Spanish album, which is, I'm telling you right now, some of the best work I've ever done and some of the best work that she's ever done.
"The fact that she put her career in my hands is a massive responsibility, but no one knows her like I do ... We've always been good friends from day one, you know. We met working, 20-something years ago ... She's my goombah. That's my girl for life."
Meanwhile, Jennifer - who shares nine-year-old twins Max and Emme with Marc - previously admitted the couple's split was "good for the whole family".
She said: "At first I was like, 'We're good with the kids and everything, but if we start working together, are we gonna start going at each other again?' And it's been awesome. Honestly, I think it's even helped our relationship.
"We're just in a really great place, and the kids get to spend time with the two of us more together and see us working together. It's just good for the whole family."
And the 47-year-old singer and actress considers her divorce from Marc as the "biggest disappointment" of her life.
She said: "It was devastating and awful. I think both Marc and I thought at the time we would be together for the next 40 years until we die.
"It was the biggest disappointment of my life so far. [But] I felt like at that time I had lost my way a little bit, of who I was in trying to make the marriage work.
"I had been married twice before and I didn't want this to be a failure ... I just put all my heart and soul into that and forgot who I was as an individual a little bit."

George Michael's Funeral Kept Secret by Family

Added: 25.03.2017 19:52 | 0 views | 0 comments

George Michael's family are keeping his funeral a secret from the late singer's friends.
The 'Faith' hitmaker - who was found dead in bed on Christmas Day (12.25.16) - is reportedly being laid to rest next to his mother at Highgate West Cemetery, north London on Sunday (03.26.17) but his close friends haven't been informed by his relatives when the service will take place and have been camped outside the graveyard waiting for movement.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "They are ready to crash the funeral. They are yards from the entrance. You can't miss the car. It's a great big Range rover with personalised number plate."
The ceremony at Highgate is just 250 yards away from where George - who was just 53 when he passed away from natural causes - is expected to be buried alongside his beloved mother Lesley and will be an intimate affair with just 30 people.
A source previously said: "The funeral is going to be a very small, private gathering. The chapel only seats 30 so, apart from family, there won't be many others there.
"The details are a closely-guarded secret. Most guests will be told what's going on a few hours beforehand. The idea is to avoid them being mobbed by fans trying to get a glimpse of their idol's farewell."
Though details for the service are being kept as quiet as possible, it is believed former Spice Girls singer Geri Horner will give a reading after George's Wham! band mate Andrew Ridgeley - who gave a touching tribute to his friend alongside backing singers Pepsi & Shirley at the BRIT Awards last month - felt unable to address the congregation as it would be too emotional.
The source added: "Andrew overcame massive anxieties to perform a tribute at the Brits. He was asked to read at the funeral but felt it would be too much. Instead, Geri has been asked to speak. The choice has raised eyebrows among some of his friends as the two weren't close when he died."
It was recently claimed George has left his £10 million London mansion to his older sister Melanie, 55.
Melanie is thought to have already moved into the home whilst she plans the funeral of the ex-Wham! star.
A source said: "George was very close to his whole family but he had a particularly special bond with Melanie, who was by his side at the height of his fame.
"She adores the Highgate house, one of the first he bought. They shared some wonderful times there and it has a special place in her heart. Melanie is staying there at the moment while she organizes the funeral."

John Mayer Misses Katy Perry

Added: 25.03.2017 19:52 | 0 views | 0 comments

John Mayer misses Katy Perry.
The 39-year-old singer/songwriter was in an on/off relationship with the 'Chained to the Rhythm' hitmaker for around 18 months until early 2014 and admitted his new single, 'Still Feel Like Your Man', was written about the blond beauty.
He said: "Who else would I be thinking about? And by the way, it's a testament to the fact that I have not dated a lot of people in the last five, six years. That was my only relationship. So it's like, give me this, people."
Lyrics to the track include: "Still like the letters in your name and how they feel, babe / Still think I'm never gonna find another you / Still like to leave the party early and go home, babe / And don't you know, babe / I'd rather sit here on my own and be alone, babe."
And John admitted his break-up from the 32-year-old singer inspired some other tracks on his new album 'The Search for Everything', but he also wrote other songs that are more "profound".
He told the New York Times newspaper: "There were times when tears came out of me, and I went, OK, John, this is not about an on-again, off-again relationship. This is something more profound."
The 'Gravity' hitmaker - who turns 40 in October - is ready to settle down and wants to have children.
He admitted: "I wish there was somebody to throw me the 40th.
"I want the baby with the protective earphones [by the side of the stage].
"I'm right on time for my career, and I'm running late for my life."
However, with failed romances with the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson and Taylor Swift behind him, John knows he has a reputation as a womaniser to shake off.
He said: "I've inherited a younger man's reputation. You can even break 'bad boy' into good bad boy and bad bad boy -- I somehow managed to become a bad version of a bad boy."
But the 'Your Body is a Wonderland' singer does use an exclusive dating app, though he insists he never meets anyone.
He said: "It's just lot of chatter. We all talk to the same people. There are very few people actually meeting up."

James Corden: I'd Love to Bring Carpool Karaoke to High Wycombe

Added: 25.03.2017 19:52 | 0 views | 0 comments

James Corden would "love" to bring 'Carpool Karaoke' to his home town of High Wycombe in England.
The 38-year-old TV star has turned the segment on 'The Late Late Show', in which he shares a car journey with a well known musician, into an internet sensation and James has now revealed he'd love to bring the concept to the town in which he was born.
James said their route could take in the local villages of Micklefield, Loudwater and then Totteridge, adding: "Then we'd probably go up Amersham Hill ... through Hazlemere, through the crossroads, down, up to Holmer Green and then maybe you could carry on to Amersham. But that's a different town and I don't want to step on any toes.
"But yes, a 100 per cent. We'd stop in the Corn Market for a McDonald's."
James also admitted that because of the show's intense nature, a new idea can often come to fruition in a matter of hours.
He told the Bucks Free Press newspaper: "If we have an idea, we do it that night. We do like 300 shows a year or something crazy. We're always working on stuff."
Earlier this month, James admitted to being surprised by the success of 'Carpool Karaoke', and then revealed his intention to bring it to the UK.
He previously said: "It's taken us all by surprise, the success, especially of that particular segment.
"But we do have some stuff planned this year - which might involve being in the UK."
James said there are no concrete plans in place at the moment, but he would love to realise his ambition.
He explained: "We're talking about it now, really. We don't know if we'll be able to get it together but it's certainly something I'd love to do, for sure."
